My question is, if I have a SQL2k install, licensed to 1 processor, and I
add a 2nd processor, how do I change the license for a 2nd processor? Do I
need to reconfigure the install? Do I need to type in the new serial number
somewhere? Or do I just need to buy the license for audit purposes?
Chris (IS at the domain of screenplay dot com)YOu just jave to add them with the licence setup in the control panel.

mode to two processors within the licensing applet.

Open/Select license agreement if you have one. Use the License Management
tool to change the license count so the Application Error log doesn't get
spammed. There may be technical issues with the OS going from a
uniprocessor to a multiprocessor system.
