change server licensing

How easy or difficult it is to change from Processor licensing to CAL
Licensing and vice versa ? Using SQL 2000.
The only supported way to change it, is to uninstall and reinstall:

There is a undocumented way of changing it, but unless this isnt supported
this shouldnt be your first choice:
