Changing color of the report parameter viewer tool bar

Hey peeps,
I am wondering to know if there is a way to change the color of the SQL
Report parameter strip when the report is rendered. I tried changing a few
classes in the Reportingservice.css file but those changes reflect only in
the outer region(the container of the report, not the frame). When the report
is rendered, a new css file named "8.00.743.00HtmlViewer.css" is generated
dynamically which is holding control to the class files used by different
items in that tool bar. How would I get access to this newly generated css
file or howelse could I change the color of the tool bar that contains items
like "Find", "Export" buttons. Awaiting your suggestion.

RS SP1 has additional url access parameter Stylesheet that specifies a =style sheet to be applied to the HTML viewer..
You need to make your own file and save it to 'C:\Program =Files\Microsoft SQL Server\MSSQL\Reporting =Services\ReportServer\styles\custom.css'
Here is example:
http://servername/reportserver?/SampleReports/Report1&rs:Command=3DRender=
&rc:Stylesheet=3DCustom
The following style makes parameters row blue:
.MenuBarBkGnd
{
background-color: blue
}
PS:
New in SP2. The <HTMLViewerStyleSheet> property has been added to the =Reporting Services configuration file so that you can specify a new =default style sheet for your HTML viewer.

Change style for HTML Viewer - toolbar

Hi,
Is it possible to change properties such background colour for HTML viewer â'
toolbar?
I just want co customise report â's look to match our applicationâ's style
where report is displayed (we use frames).

Any reason why this file would not be created on install?

I did find in the RS SP1 readme that the new URL Access Parameters
can be used to add a custom stylesheet.
The property is: rc:Stylesheet
Do you have any idea how this gets set in the development environment?

>|||Unless I am mistaken, the presence of that file is moot.
The style sheet that controls the look of the html viewer toolbar
has been compiled into the ReportingServicesWebServer.dll
I don't believe that the htmlviewer.css file is used at all.
Please confirm.

it looks to me that you are right. no meter what properties i am changing
in any of the ".css" files on reporting server / designer there is no changes
at all. Actually some properties can be changed on report manager but that is
not what I am after.

Change page title from "Report Viewer/Manager" to the actual report name?

Can a person change the page title from "Report Viewer/Manager" to the actual report name?

Yes, but it is not quite as simple as you would probably think it would be.

You will need to use Visual Studio to create a windows application or web application and set the page title there.

|||Yea, that's a possibility, but not do-able for 50 separate reports :/
Maybe there's some hack to set the page name that's shown by default?|||Actually it is possible for 50 separate reports using Visual Studio. You create links to the reports and each "report page" that is linked to has its own title.
